The window of my room is faced to the south. In the late afternoon the sunshine comes through the slit between the closed blind and the window and one can see this sun-lit line projected on the wall one side of the room. This sun-lit line blows in the wind and slowly moves from left to right as the sun goes down, until the sun completely disappears under the horizon. This is an image that is created by an interaction between the architecture and its surrounding. And it is how I experience outer space/nature through a mold, which is the architecture.
For the exhibition the video was projected onto the wall, on which the light from outside is projected through an opening, similar to what happens in the video work. So one sees two lines of light from outside, one from the projected video, and the other from the outside of the gallery space. By showing the video in a similar environment to where it was taken, I wanted to connect the space shown in the work and the space where the work is exhibited.
